.A FAST MOVING WINTER SYSTEM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA ON
WEDNESDAY NIGHT. WHILE SNOWFALL IS GENERALLY EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT
IN NATURE THERE COULD BE A FEW BANDS OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW
DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT. BY THE
TIME THE SYSTEM MOVES OUT OF THE AREA ON THURSDAY THERE WILL
LIKELY BE 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW ACROSS THE AREA...WITH PERHAPS A
FEW ISOLATED POCKETS OF HIGHER AMOUNTS. ONCE THE SNOW TAPERS OFF

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE REMAINS IN
EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM CST THURSDAY.

* LOCATION...EASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN AND CENTRAL MISSOURI
  INCLUDING THE KANSAS CITY METRO AREA.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT BETWEEN 7
  PM AND MIDNIGHT AND WILL LAST THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS
  UNTIL AROUND 6 AM. AT THAT POINT SNOW WILL TAPER OFF BUT
  FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL LAST THROUGH AROUND 9 AM.

* SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW...WITH PERHAPS
  A FEW POCKETS OF AMOUNTS UP TO 4 INCHES. FREEZING DRIZZLE
  AMOUNTS WILL CAUSE A GLAZING OF ICE ON SURFACE.

* IMPACTS...LIGHT SNOW WILL LIKELY ACCUMULATE ON ROADWAYS
  CAUSING THEM TO BECOME SLICK. FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL ALSO CAUSE
  A GLAZING OF ICE. DRIVE VERY CAREFULLY FOR YOUR EARLY MORNING
  COMMUTE ON THURSDAY.

* LOCATION...NORTH CENTRAL AND CENTRAL MISSOURI.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL BEGIN AROUND MIDNIGHT AND LAST
  THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS BEFORE GRADUALLY TAPERING OFF
  THURSDAY MORNING. FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL BEGIN EARLY THURSDAY
  MORNING AND COULD LAST THROUGH NOON.
