A cold front moved across the region overnight ushering in cooler
air and dry weather conditions. Some patchy fog was impacting
parts of eastern Kansas with early morning lows ranging from the
30s over the high plains of western Kansas to the low 60s in
portions of southeast Kansas.

Breezy westerly winds will develop over the region today allowing
above normal temperatures to return to the area. Afternoon highs
will top out in the low to mid 80s across southern Kansas while
highs along the Nebraska state line will remain in the low 70s.

Low level moisture will return to southeast Kansas late tonight
bringing a chance for showers and storms toward dawn on Wednesday.
Lows tonight will range from the upper 30s in far western Kansas
to the upper 50s in southeast Kansas.
