...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL ROBESON AND
NORTHERN DILLON COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Raemon, or 8 miles south of Laurinburg, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pembroke, Rowland, Raemon, Purvis, Prospect, Elrod, Mcdonald, and
Raynham.

This includes Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 4
and 10.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern North Carolina...and northeastern South Carolina.
