...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR CENTRAL HARRISON AND SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON COUNTIES...

At 1113 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Long Beach, Moss Point, St.
  Martin, Gautier, D`iberville, Latimer, Gulf Hills, Gulf Park
  Estates, Lyman, Vancleave, Hickory Hills and Gulfport Airport.

This includes the following Interstates...
Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 26 and 65.
Interstate 110 in Mississippi near mile marker 1...and
between mile markers 3 and 4.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
