High pressure with above normal temperatures and  relatively dry
conditions this week. Winds will remain gentle to  moderate, but
will shift slightly offshore in the North Bay on  Wednesday,
decreasing the humidity through Friday. Further south,  the high
pressure will support a shallow marine layer this week,  greatly
limiting smoke dispersion along the coast. By late Friday  or early
Saturday, an approaching cold front will bring cooler  temperatures,
higher humidity and widespread wetting rain to the  Bay Area and
Central Coast. An inch or more rain is currently  expected in the
Santa Curz and Santa Lucia Mountains with this  system.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

northeast  gusts of 15 to 30 mph will remain through Wednesday. High
temperatures  between 75 and 85 will be common, warmest on
Wednesday. Humidities will  lower into the 12 to 25 percent range
each day, except 25 to 50 percent over the Central Coast. Another
storm system is expected over the  weekend, with the most likely
rain amounts under one inch and gusty  southwest winds.
Thunderstorms are possible, especially on Sunday.
