Through 5PM: Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will
continue to move northeast at 40 mph across portions of the South
Plains, Rolling Plains, and the extreme southern Texas Panhandle.
This activity should diminish in coverage from west to east by
late afternoon. Until then, locally heavy rain and hail between
pea size to dime size will be possible with the stronger
thunderstorms. Additional rainfall could approach one half inch
in some locales.
