Synopsis for Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm-
942 AM EDT Thu Apr 11 2024

.SYNOPSIS...Hazardous to dangerous boating conditions today with
southerly winds at 25 to 30 knots ahead of an approaching cold
front. Gale-force wind gusts are forecast offshore north of
Sebastian Inlet. The cold front will pass through the local
Atlantic this evening, veering winds toward the west-northwest
overnight. Offshore-moving showers and lightning storms, a few of
which could be strong to severe, will accompany the front. Drier
conditions resume Friday as high pressure builds into the weekend,
and boating conditions are expected to gradually improve.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...South winds 20 to 30 knots, with frequent
gusts to Gale Force and seas building to 6 to 9 feet.

on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Thursday, April 11th.
