.DISCUSSION...

Dry and warm conditions will continue through Saturday, with
afternoon high temperatures remaining around 2-4 degrees above
normal. Light and diurnal winds with occasional afternoon
breeziness is expected through Friday before widespread breezy to
windy conditions arrive this weekend. Winds gusts in excess of
30-40 mph are expected in some areas this weekend, particularly
across Imperial County. Strong winds along with dry conditions
will lead to localized elevated fire weather conditions this
weekend. Afternoon min RHs will bottom out around 8-20% over the
next few days, while overnight recoveries remain in the poor to
fair category between 30-60% for most areas.
