the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.90 inches, will slowly weaken tonight
over central Quebec. High end gales will slowly diminish,
persisting into Saturday morning before weakening further the
latter half of the day as weak high pressure, 29.90 inches,
briefly builds into the region.

...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

.REST OF TONIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 20 to
25 knots early in the morning. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Mostly cloudy
this evening becoming partly cloudy. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
becoming west 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Partly sunny in the
morning then clearing. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in
the afternoon.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then becoming south
10 to 15 knots after midnight. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to 15
knots early in the afternoon. Partly sunny. A chance of light
showers in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 knots diminishing to 5 to 10
knots after midnight. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the south in the
afternoon and evening. Mostly sunny becoming sunny in the afternoon
becoming mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance
of light showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots.
Partly cloudy. Light showers likely. Waves 1 to 3 feet. A Small
Craft Advisory may be needed.
