* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Calhoun County in the Panhandle of Florida...
  Wakulla County in Big Bend Florida...
  Gadsden County in Big Bend Florida...
  Liberty County in Big Bend Florida...
  Leon County in Big Bend Florida...
  Franklin County in Big Bend Florida...

* Until 215 AM EDT/115 AM CDT/.

* At 1247 AM EDT/1147 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located
  along a line extending from 13 miles northwest of Stonemill Creek
  to near Port St. Joe, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Tallahassee, Woodville, Carrabelle, Quincy, Havana, Midway, Florida
  State University, Eastpoint, Apalachicola, Tallahassee Community
  College, Blountstown, St. Marks, Crawfordville, Florida A and M, St
  George Island, Port St. Joe, Mexico Beach, Stonemill Creek, Doak
  Campbell Stadium, and Chattahoochee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Tallahassee.
