An expansive upper level ridge has become established across the
Ohio Valley and Great Lakes regions, which will provide abundant
sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures through early this
week. By midweek, a cold front will progress through the region,
bringing an end to the extended stretch of above normal
temperatures. Temperatures will trend down for the last part of
the week as upper level troughing evolves for the eastern third or
so of the country. Other than a slight chance for some rain
Wednesday with the passage of the front, dry conditions will
prevail through most of the week.
