WINDS BEHIND A COLD FRONT MOVING OUT OF JAPAN. THIS SWELL WILL
CREATE HAZARDOUS SURF FOR THE MARIANAS THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CHST
THURSDAY...

* WAVES AND SURF...SURF IS CURRENTLY HAZARDOUS AT 7 TO 9 FEET ON
  NORTH AND WEST FACING REEFS. THE SURF IS EXPECTED TO PEAK ON
  TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY AT 8 TO 11 FEET. SURF WILL REMAIN
  HAZARDOUS THROUGH THURSDAY...THEN COULD SUBSIDE THURSDAY
  NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...MINOR BEACH EROSION AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS ARE
  POSSIBLE AT BEACHES ALONG COAST LINES FACING NORTH AND WEST.
  RITIDIAN AND TARAGUE BEACHES ARE LIKELY VERY SUSCEPTIBLE.
  ADDITIONALLY...A PORTUGUESE MAN-OF-WAR WAS RECENTLY REPORTED
  AT TARAGUE BEACH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AVOID VENTURING OUT TO THE REEF LINES...ESPECIALLY ALONG NORTH
AND WEST FACING SHORES WHERE THERE WILL BE A HIGH RISK OF RIP
CURRENTS.
