TEMPERATURE OF 78 DEGREES SEPARATED BY JUST A WEEK FROM THE
COLDEST...A HALLOWEEN READING OF 13.  THE 78 TIED THE RECORD HIGH
FOR OCTOBER 24. THE MEAN TEMPERATURE OF 48.4 WOUND UP 2.9 DEGREES
ABOVE AVERAGE FOR OCTOBER.

DRY CONDITIONS PREVAILED WITH ONLY A THIRD OF AN INCH OF RAIN AMOUNTING
TO ALMOST TWO INCHES BELOW AVERAGE. A STARK CONTRAST WITH THE 4.18
INCHES DELIVERED UPON THE METROPLEX LAST YEAR.
