...HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT...

Two thunderstorm complexes are expected to impact much of
northeast Wisconsin this afternoon and tonight. The first round of
thunderstorms is forecast to overspread the area this afternoon
into early this evening. The second round of thunderstorms is
expected to sweep east-southeast and mainly affect the southern
half of the state tonight. 1 to 3 inches of rain may fall between
the two systems across central and east-central Wisconsin with
localized higher amounts possible. This amount of rain in a
relatively short amount of time could lead to flooding issues,
including rapid river levels.

Be sure to monitor later forecasts and statements on this
flooding potential. Remember, do not try and drive across any
water-covered roadways, especially at night when water depth is
hard to determine.
