NORTHWESTERN ST. BERNARD...NORTH CENTRAL JEFFERSON AND
ORLEANS PARISHES...

AT 412 PM CDT...CITY OF NEW ORLEANS EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED
THAT EXTENSIVE STREET FLOODING CONTINUES IN MANY AREAS AS A RESULT
OF THE HEAVY RAINFALL THAT OCCURRED OVER THE LAST TWO HOURS...WITH
SOME STREETS IMPASSABLE. ONLY LIGHT RAIN IS EXPECTED THROUGH
600PM.

MOTORIST TRHOUGHOUT THE METRO AREA ARE URGED TO EXERCISE CAUTION
UNTIL FLOODING IMPROVES AND TO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED STREETS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST
