THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DALLAS COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS...

* UNTIL 945 AM CDT

* AT 732 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE HEAVY RAIN HAS ENDED
  ACROSS DALLAS COUNTY. 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN FELL ACROSS MUCH OF
  DALLAS COUNTY. IN THE GARLAND AREA OVER 6 INCHES OF RAIN FELL
  OVERNIGHT.

  FLOOD WATERS ARE BEGINNING TO RECEDE IN MOST AREAS...BUT THERE ARE
  MANY CREEKS AND STREAMS THAT ARE STILL FLOODED AND IMPACTING
  ROADWAYS AND STRUCTURES...INCLUDING DUCK CREEK...SPRING CREEK...
  AND ROWLETT CREEK IN NORTHEAST DALLAS COUNTY.

  FLOODING IS STILL OCCURRING WITH NUMEROUS ROADS STILL IMPASSABLE.
  MULTIPLE HIGH WATER RESCUES HAVE OCCURRED. TRAVEL HAS BECOME
  IMPOSSIBLE IN MANY AREAS. IF YOU LIVE IN A LOW LYING AREA NEAR A
  CREEK OR STREAM BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND SHOULD WATERS
  RISE TO YOUR LOCATION.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  DALLAS...GARLAND...IRVING...GRAND PRAIRIE...MESQUITE...
  CARROLLTON...RICHARDSON...ROWLETT...DESOTO...GRAPEVINE...CEDAR
  HILL...WYLIE...COPPELL...DUNCANVILLE...LANCASTER...FARMERS
  BRANCH...BALCH SPRINGS...UNIVERSITY PARK...SACHSE AND SEAGOVILLE.
