...THE FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 200 AM EDT FOR GUILFORD
COUNTY...

RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES OF RAIN FELL
ACROSS GUILFORD COUNTY DURING THE PAST FEW HOURS WITH A FEW
LOCATIONS NORTHWEST OF GREENSBORO...RECEIVING MORE THAN 2.5 INCHES OF
RAIN. THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS RECENTLY DEPARTED THE AREA AND SEVERAL
CREEKS AND STREAMS THAT EXPERIENCED RISES DURING THE PAST COUPLE OF
HOURS INCLUDING BRUSHY CREEK...HORSEPEN CREEK AND THE EAST FORK OF
THE DEEP RIVER ARE RECEDING. WHILE THE IMMEDIATE THREAT OF FLOODING
HAS DIMINISHED...PERIODS OF RAIN ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT WHICH WILL
RESULT IN CREEKS AND STREAMS THAT WILL RUN HIGH AND FAST. IN
ADDITION...WATER MAY PERSIST IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. BE SURE TO USE
CAUTION IF TRAVELING OVERNIGHT.
