FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GAYLORD MI
337 PM EDT TUE JUL 28 2015

...THREAT FOR A FEW SHOWERS WEDNESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
A WEAKENING COLD FRONT CROSSING THE AREA WEDNESDAY MAY KICK OFF A
FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...ALTHOUGH OVERALL COVERAGE AND
RAINFALL AMOUNTS LOOK LIMITED. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WARM...BUT
ELEVATED HUMIDITY LEVELS SHOULD PRECLUDE ANY FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS.

BIGGER CONCERNS FOR BOTH THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AFTERNOON AS GUSTY
WEST WINDS AND STILL MILD TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN ELEVATED
FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS. AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS RH VALUES WILL
REMAIN ABOVE CRITICAL LEVELS...BUT DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO MONITOR
IN THE COMING DAYS.
