Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
345 AM EDT Fri May 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Dry high pressure will continue to build over the area today
into Saturday with warming temperatures. Westerly winds around
10 mph could be gusty at times up to 20 mph late morning into
the afternoon. Min RH values will fall to just above critical
values but fuel moisture remains high from recent heavy rains.
Fog will not be an issue this morning due to dry air in place
and winds staying up.
