Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
207 PM EDT Tue Sep 26 2017

.DISCUSSION...Our forecast area continues to be in a warm, dry
high pressure area between Hurricane Maria and an approaching
frontal system. Maria will continue to pull northward away from
the region, and a moisture-limited cold front will approach late
Thursday, stalling south of the area this weekend. Little to no
precipitation is expected with the front while temperatures will
lower to near normal just behind the front this weekend.

A few locations mainly near bodies of water may see light fog during
the early morning hours Wednesday. Any fog should dissipate by 9 am.
