FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
424 AM EDT THU SEP 3 2015

.DISCUSSION...
ANOTHER WARM DAY EXPECTED WITH ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES
IN THE MID 90S AND ONLY WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. MIN RH VALUES WILL BE
AROUND 40 PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON AS WELL AS ON FRIDAY.
LOW CONFIDENCE IN BOTH SURFACE AND TRANSPORT WINDS DUE
TO VERY LIGHT WIND FLOW IN THE LOWEST 5000 FT TO THE
SURFACE...AND THERE COULD BE A GRADUAL WIND SHIFT TO
THE WEST OR NORTHWEST AS A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH MOVES
ACROSS THE REGION. SLIGHTLY BETTER CHANCES OF RAIN
ON FRIDAY AS MOISTURE INCREASES.
