Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
323 PM CST Sat Nov 18 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A front coming through the region later this afternoon into
this evening will bring scattered to numerous showers and an
embedded thunderstorm or two, with gusty winds from the south
switching to the northwest after the front comes through. Rain
chances will end this evening but north winds will remain at
least slightly gusty through tomorrow as skies clear. The
combination of afternoon RH values tomorrow near 30 percent
and winds remaining a little gusty will bring a little fire
concern for western zones, but conditions are expected to
remain well short of red flag criteria. Otherwise anticipate
conditions turning much chillier than has been the case
lately.
