Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
452 AM CDT Sun May 5 2024

.DISCUSSION...a warm and humid airmass will remain in place
through early week, and this will support shower and
thunderstorm chances, especially this afternoon and evening.
The potential for dense fog will be a concern over mainly
southern and eastern portions of the forecast area. We
should see wind pick up some from the south, especially Monday.
