Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
246 PM CDT Fri Jul 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather across western Nebraska through Tuesday will continue
to produce minimum afternoon humidity between 20 and 30 percent.
Higher values are expected across north central Nebraska,
generally across areas east of highway 83. Lowest humidity is
expected across the Sandhills west of highway 83 and Southwest
Nebraska south of Interstate 80.

More moist conditions Wednesday through Friday could raise
humidity above 30 percent in all areas but another heat wave may
develop which would offset the moisture increase.

Showers and Thunderstorms during the next 7 days are expected to
produce between 1/2 and 1 inch of rainfall across Southwest and
North Central Nebraska. Lesser amounts are expected elsewhere.
Locally heavier rainfall is possible in all areas.
