Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Wrn Montana and N Cntrl Idaho
National Weather Service Missoula MT
506 AM MDT FRI SEP 4 2015

...WETTING RAINS POSSIBLE THROUGH SUNDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

Idaho: Rain will move back over the area from the east this
afternoon. Wetting rains are likely for locations east of Highway
95, with a lesser chance to the west. Most rain will end by midday
Sunday. Anticipate a slow warming and drying trend for much of
next week. Poor overnight humidity recovery will reappear on
midslopes by Wednesday night and continue through next weekend.

Montana: Rain will intensify and fill in westward throughout this
afternoon and evening. Wetting rains are likely for most areas,
with the exception of northwest Montana along the Idaho border and
southwest Montana along the Idaho border. The most substantial
rainfall will be along the Continental Divide north of Highway
200. Snow will reach down to 6500 feet for a time as well. A slow
drying and warming trend will exist from Sunday evening through
much of next week. Wednesday night through next weekend, midslopes
will experience increasingly poor humidity recovery.
