RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING

.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will affect the northern and eastern
sections of the area this evening, while gusty northwest winds
continue in the lee of the Cascades tonight. High pressure
strengthens Thursday and Friday providing light and terrain driven
winds and another short-lived warming trend. The next push of
winds will come through the Cascade gaps Friday evening and
continue on and off through the weekend. Monday also has the
potential to produce critical wind and humidity levels with
another dry cold front passage.
