Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Washington and North Idaho
National Weather Service Spokane WA
544 AM PDT Fri Oct 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

...Windy again today and tonight...

An upper level low will be over the region today and will result
in rain and snow showers over the mountains, with localized
showers in the lowlands. There may be a few lightning strikes
up over zone 686 in the northeast mountains through the afternoon.
Otherwise expect gusty winds and cooler temperatures. There will be
a break in the weather tonight, but another warm wet storm system
is expected Saturday and Sunday. High pressure on Monday will bring
warmer and drier conditions to the region.
