Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
221 PM PDT Mon Jun 26 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...A trough of low pressure aloft will move
across western Oregon this evening, ending the threat of
thunderstorms before midnight. Low level onshore flow will remain
through the rest of the week keeping temperatures near seasonal
normals, but with gusty west winds at times through the Columbia
River Gorge.

.DISCUSSION...An upper level trough of low pressure moving across
western Oregon through this evening will keep a threat for
thunderstorms going through the early evening. High pressure
offshore with lower pressure inland east of the Cascades will
continue to push marine air inland through the rest of the week.
This will keep the regions temperatures close to their seasonable
normals through the week and into the weekend, but with gusty
winds at times through the Columbia River Gorge.
