Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
257 AM MST Thu Jul 27 2017

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure aloft centered to our east will keep the atmosphere
a bit drier today with above normal high temperatures. Minimum RH
values will mostly be in the teens across the deserts. Southeast
flow around the high will start increasing moisture from the east
on Friday allowing high temperature to fall off several degrees,
especially in south-central Arizona, and humidities will increase.
Still, afternoon and evening thunderstorms will mostly be confined
to higher terrain areas east of Phoenix through Friday. Winds both
days will stay light, favoring typical diurnal tendencies.

...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds...
