Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
408 AM PDT Tue May 30 2017

Current warnings/watches...none.

.DISCUSSION....A weak upper trough will bring a chance of showers
and a few thunderstorms to Western Washington today. A lull
between weather systems will characterize Wednesday. Weak weather
disturbances will enhance shower activity on Thursday A.M. and
again on Friday A.M. Looks like a longer lull between systems on
Friday night and Saturday. Another disturbance later in the
weekend could kick up some showers, especially over the Cascades.
A more pronounced turn to warm and drier weather is expected early
next week.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
