Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Kansas and Southwest and Central Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
113 PM CST Wed Dec 13 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Elevated to locally significant fire weather conditions will impact
all districts today. Another dry cold front will push across the
region this afternoon with winds becoming west to northwest behind
the front. Gusty winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 30 mph
along with low relative humidities will lead to the heightened fire
weather risk.

The dry conditions will continue the remainder of the week with another
elevated fire weather day is expected on Saturday when winds increase.
There will be a chance for light rain later this weekend.
