TODAY...BECOMING LIGHT. A QUIET WEATHER DAY ELSEWHERE TODAY  WITH
LIGHT WINDS, A FEW HIGH CLOUDS AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES.
ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA SATURDAY BRINGING MORE
 WIND, INCREASING CLOUD COVER, COOLER TEMPERATURES AND A POSSIBILITY
 OF BRIEF SHOWERS OVER PARTS OF SOUTHERN NEVADA. SUNNY, DRY AND COOL
 WEATHER FOLLOWS ON SUNDAY.

STRONG AND GUSTY EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH WITH  GUSTS
OF 50 WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MID MORNING ALONG WITH LOW  RELATIVE
HUMIDITY.THE WINDS WILL RELAX LATER IN THE DAY, BUT  VERY LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL CONTINUE. A BRIEF PERIOD OF ONSHORE WINDS AND
HIGHER HUMIDITY WILL OCCUR LATE FRIDAY THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON
BEFORE WINDS TURN BACK OFFSHORE AND BECOME GUSTY SUNDAY INTO EARLY
MONDAY, PRODUCING ANOTHER PERIOD OF CRITICAL FIRE  WEATHER
CONDITIONS OVER PARTS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. A FIRE  WEATHER WATCH
HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE VALLEYS, MOUNTAINS AND  FOOTHILL AREAS LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

CALMER WINDS IN THE FORECAST TODAY IN THE WAKE OF YESTERDAY`S TROUGH
PASSAGE. MORNING WINDS MAY HAVE NORTH-NORTHEASTERLY HEADINGS BEFORE
BECOMING LIGHT AND VARIABLE INTO THE MIDDAY AND AFTERNOON HOURS.
ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES TO CONTINUE WITH WIDESPREAD 70S FOR THE
LOWER DESERT ELEVATIONS AND UPPER 50S/LOW 60S FOR THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS. MIN RHS TODAY WILL FALL 10-14 PERCENT FOR THE DESERTS
AND 12-20 PERCENT ACROSS SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY. DAYTIME HUMIDITIES
WILL IMPROVE INTO THE WEEKEND AS MOISTURE MOVES INTO THE REGION AND
PRECIP CHANCES ENTER THE FORECAST FOR THE LATE WEEKEND.
