...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN TODAY
ALONG WITH COOL CONDITIONS AND NORTHERLY BREEZES IN MOST AREAS. DRY,
COOL AND LOCALLY BREEZY CONDITIONS ARE IN STORE FOR WEDNESDAY AND
BEYOND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

THE LARGE COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND THROUGH THE WESTERN
STATES WILL BRING ONE MORE ROUND OF MORE SIGNIFICANT SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH SMALL HAIL TODAY...MAINLY TO SAN DIEGO
COUNTY. DRY AND SLOWLY WARMER FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. GREATER
WARMING FOR FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT STRENGTHENS
NEAR THE WEST COAST...AND SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT BASIN
BRINGS PERIODS OF OFFSHORE FLOW WITH THE STRONGEST NORTHEAST WINDS
FOR FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A WET AND COLD PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL EXIT TO THE EAST
TODAY USHERING IN A VERY COOL AIR MASS WHERE CENTRAL DESERTS HIGH
TEMPERATURES STRUGGLE TO CLIMB INTO THE MID 50S. THERE WILL BE A
LINGERING CHANCE OF RAIN AND HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS
THE HIGHER TERRAIN EAST OF PHOENIX TODAY...MAINLY IN THE
MORNING...OTHERWISE DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH AT LEAST MID
WEEK. VERY COOL TEMPERATURES CONTINUE WEDNESDAY. HUMIDITIES BOTH
DAYS WILL BE HIGHLY ELEVATED ESPECIALLY TODAY WHERE MINIMUM RH
VALUES WILL BE MOSTLY ABOVE 35 PERCENT. LOCALLY BREEZY WEST WINDS
TODAY WILL TAPER OFF AND BECOME MORE NORTHERLY TOMORROW.
