...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST WILL PULL
MOISTURE NORTHWARD INTO THE REGION OVERNIGHT, RESULTING IN RAIN
SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING LATE TONIGHT AND
LASTING THROUGH MONDAY. DAILY THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL PERSIST
THROUGH WEDNESDAY BEFORE CONDITIONS GRADUALLY DRY OUT LATE IN THE
WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST WILL
KEEP HIGH TEMPERATURES A FEW DEGREES BELOW NORMAL THROUGH MONDAY.
MID LEVEL MONSOONAL MOISTURE TO THE EAST AND NORTH WILL BRING SOME
AFTERNOON CLOUDS TO THE MOUNTAINS WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR
THUNDERSTORMS FOR THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT
DESERTS FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON. THERE WILL BE WARMING TO NEAR AVERAGE
HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...THEN A FEW DEGREES
ABOVE AVERAGE FOR NEXT WEEKEND. THE MARINE LAYER WILL MAINTAIN
HIGHER HUMIDITIES FOR COASTAL AREAS INTO THE VALLEYS.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

INCREASED SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL AFFECT MUCH OF THE
AREA THROUGH TUESDAY WITH BEST CHANCES ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN.
WINDS WILL REMAIN RELATIVELY LIGHT EACH DAY (EXCEPT NEAR
THUNDERSTORMS) WHILE TEMPERATURES WILL STAY NEAR SEASONAL NORMALS.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL BOTTOM OUT BETWEEN 30-35% FOR THE HIGHER
TERRAIN OF GILA COUNTY DURING THE AFTERNOONS AND BETWEEN 15-20% FOR
THE LOWER DESERTS.
