...FLOOD POTENTIAL...

THE FLOOD POTENTIAL IS LOW FOR ALL OF ALASKA.

...HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL DISCUSSION....

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW IS CURRENTLY OVER SOUTHWEST MAINLAND ALASKA. A
RIDGE AXIS IS JUST EAST OF THE STATE. THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO SLOWLY
DRIFT NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH THE STATE BY WEDNESDAY. RIDGING WILL
BUILD ACROSS THE STATE BEHIND THIS LOW.

FOR TODAY AND TONIGHT... HEAVIEST RAIN WILL BE OVER THE CENTRAL
INTERIOR WITH UP TO AN INCH POSSIBLE. NOT MUCH RAIN OVER THE STATE
FOR TUESDAY... WITH THE EXCEPTION OF NORTH SLOPE... LOCALIZED HALF
INCH POSSIBLE. THE MAINLAND WILL BE DRY FOR WEDNESDAY. ONLY RAIN
EXPECTED WILL OVER THE ALEUTIAN ISLANDS AND THE PANHANDLE.

THE 6 TO 10 DAY TEMPERATURE OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED PROBABILITIES OF
ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR WEST AND NORTHERN ALASKA. INCREASED
PROBABILITIES OF BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR SOUTHEAST MAINLAND
AND THE PANHANDLE.

THE 6 TO 10 DAY PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK HAS INCREASED PROBABILITIES OF
ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR ALL OF ALASKA.
