THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL CONTINUE...HEAVY AT TIMES...OVER THE NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS TODAY...THEN DECREASE TONIGHT.
WEST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 35 MPH WILL
PRODUCE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITY.
ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BY LATE
AFTERNOON BRINGING STORM TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS TO 8 TO 16 INCHES
WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS. ADJACENT VALLEYS CAN EXPECT
SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS BUT ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD BE LIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SNOW WILL CONTINUE FOR PROLONGED PERIODS FROM SATURDAY THROUGH
THE LATTER PART OF NEXT WEEK WITH THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS FAVORED. ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 FEET OR MORE ARE POSSIBLE
DURING THIS PROLONGED PERIOD OF WINTRY WEATHER.

SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TO THE
