This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop
across the mountains this afternoon. The main threats with these
storms will be from cloud to ground lightning and locally heavy
rainfall. A line of thunderstorms is then expected to approach
western North Carolina from East Tennessee tonight. This line may
pose a threat of isolated damaging winds before it weakens over the
high terrain.
