...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS THIS
MORNING...

SATELLITE IMAGES AND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF TOWERING
CUMULUS CLOUDS DRIFTING EAST FROM JUST OFF CAPE ROMAINE TO 5 NM
OUTSIDE OF CHARLESTON HARBOR TO NEAR EDISTO FORTY REEF...THEN
CONTINUING TO NEAR EAGLES NEST AND GRAYS REEF. DUE TO LIGHT WINDS
AND OTHER FAVORABLE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS...THERE IS A MODERATE
RISK OF WATERSPOUTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS LINE OF CLOUDS THROUGH
THE MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF WATERSPOUTS OCCUR...MOVE YOUR BOAT AWAY FROM THE WATERSPOUT.
REMEMBER THAT WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS
AND SEAS THAT ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE COAST GUARD AND ASK THEM TO RELAY THE
REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
