...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE ALONG THE CHARLESTON COUNTY COASTAL WATERS
THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON...

CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR WATERSPOUTS ACROSS THE COASTAL
WATERS OF CHARLESTON COUNTY THROUGH 1230 PM. THE RISK FOR
WATERSPOUTS WILL BE HIGHEST BETWEEN KIAWAH ISLAND TO CAPE ROMAIN
OUT TO 30 NM ALONG A LINE OF SHOWERS AND TOWERING CLOUDS THAT ARE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 KT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF WATERSPOUTS OCCUR...MOVE YOUR BOAT AWAY FROM THE WATERSPOUT.
REMEMBER THAT WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS
AND SEAS THAT ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE COAST GUARD AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY
RELAY THE REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.

CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR WATERSPOUTS ACROSS THE OFFSHORE
WATERS BETWEEN EDISTO BEACH AND ALTAMAHA SOUND OUT 20 TO 40 NM
THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON. THE RISK WILL BE HIGHEST ALONG A LINE OF
SHOWERS AND TOWERING CLOUDS THAT ARE MOVING EAST AND NORTHEAST AT
10 TO 15 KT.
