WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 10 AM
PST WEDNESDAY.


* WINDS...SOUTH 15 TO 25 KT WITH GUSTS TO 35 KT THIS MORNING
  INCREASING TO 30 TO 40 KT WITH GUSTS TO 50 KT FROM LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. A COASTAL JET WILL
  PRODUCE LOCALLY STRONGER WINDS WITH AT LEAST 55 KT GUSTS WITHIN
  20 NM OF THE COAST.

* SEAS...8 TO 10 FT EARLY THIS MORNING BUILDING TO 14 TO 17 FT BY
  LATE TODAY. SEAS WILL INCREASE FURTHER THIS EVENING AND LIKELY
  RISE INTO THE 22 TO 27 FT RANGE LATE TUESDAY NIGHT AND EARLY
  WEDNESDAY MORNING.








PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A STORM WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 48 TO 63 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. RECREATIONAL BOATERS SHOULD REMAIN IN PORT...OR TAKE
SHELTER UNTIL WINDS AND WAVES SUBSIDE. COMMERCIAL VESSELS SHOULD
PREPARE FOR VERY STRONG WINDS AND DANGEROUS SEA CONDITIONS...AND
CONSIDER REMAINING IN PORT OR TAKING SHELTER IN PORT UNTIL WINDS
AND WAVES SUBSIDE.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
