...GALE WATCH IS CANCELLED...

* WAVES...3 TO 6 FEET.

* WIND...WEST 25 TO 35 KNOTS...EASING TO 15 TO 25 KNOTS BY
  MIDMORNING...AND THEN RISING TO GALE FORCE AGAIN IN THE
  AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL EASE BELOW GALE FORCE BY 6 AM PDT BUT ARE
  ANTICIPATED TO RISE BACK TO GALE FORCE OVER THE CENTRAL STRAIT
  BETWEEN 3 PM AND 5 PM AND ABOUT 5 PM OVER THE EAST ENTRANCE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
