SANTA MONICA SOUTHWARD TO THE PALOS VERDES PENINSULA. MOTORISTS SHOULD
BE PREPARED FOR SUDDEN REDUCTIONS IN VISIBILITY...FALLING LOCALLY BELOW
ONE QUARTER MILE. MAJOR ROADWAYS THAT WILL LIKELY BE IMPACTED BY
THE DENSE FOG INCLUDE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AND INTERSTATE 10. AT
4 PM...VISIBILITIES OF ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF MILE WERE BEING OBSERVED
AT THE WESTERN RUNWAY OF LOS ANGELES AIRPORT AS WELL AS SANTA MONICA
AIRPORT. IN ADDITION...A WEATHER SPOTTER REPORTED A VISIBILITY OF ONE
EIGHTH MILE AT EL SEGUNDO...WITH ZERO VISIBILITY AT HERMOSA BEACH. IF
DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...USE YOUR LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE
