...Hard freeze this morning...

.Much colder air has settled into the region this morning. Clear
skies have allowed temperatures to plummet into the 20s in areas
generally north and west of the tidal lakes as well as all of
southern Mississippi this morning.

Black ice will remain on many area roadways this morning. These
conditions are expected to rapidly improve by 10 am.

* IMPACTS...Unprotected pipes could burst and black ice will
  remain through mid morning.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hard Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are
imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and
other sensitive vegetation.
