...Strong winds will occur over parts of Central Wyoming this
afternoon through early Sunday morning...

.Strong winds will develop, as a strong jet moves over the area.
West-southwest winds will downslope off the Wind River Mountains,
along with strong mid level winds mixing down to the surface
across the Wind Corridor. The Cody Foothills may also see very
strong winds tonight.

...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect until 5 AM MST Sunday. The High Wind
Watch is no longer in effect.

* TIMING...West winds will blow at times through the day today,
  but they may become very strong tonight.

* WINDS...West 30 to 45 mph with gusts of 60 to 70 mph. Even
  stronger winds in excess of 80 mph are quite possible near the
  mouth of any canyons including Canyon Road west of Clark.

* IMPACTS...Travellers along highway 120 between Meeteetse and
  Clark should prepare for very strong to extreme erratic cross-
  winds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

  county this evening, becoming very strong later tonight.

* WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Travellers along highway 120 between Meeteetse and
  Thermopolis should prepare for very strong and erratic cross-
  winds.

* IMPACTS...Travellers along Interstate 25 should prepare for
  very strong and erratic cross-winds.

* WINDS...Southwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 65 mph
  across the lower elevations with gusts over 70 mph on Outer
  Drive in Casper.

* IMPACTS...Travellers along Interstate 25 should prepare for
  very strong and erratic cross-winds. Travellers along highway
  789/287/220 from South Pass to Casper should prepare for very
  strong winds, along with possibly blowing/drifting snow.

  Even stronger gusts over 80 mph are possible along the east
  slope of the Wind River mountains.
