...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON PST
MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY...
WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON PST MONDAY. THE
HIGH WIND WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* LOCATION...BELLINGHAM...FERNDALE...AND THE SAN JUAN ISLANDS.
  STRONGEST WINDS NEAR THE COASTLINE OF WESTERN WHATCOM COUNTY AND
  ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE SAN JUANS.

* TIMING...THIS EVENING THROUGH AROUND NOON MONDAY AFTERNOON. THE
  STRONGEST WINDS WILL PROBABLY OCCUR LATE TONIGHT.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST FRASER RIVER OUTFLOW WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
  DEVELOP...PRODUCING NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH
  WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 55 MPH.

* IMPACTS...WINDS THIS STRONG CAN CAUSE POWER OUTAGES AND PRODUCE
  MINOR DAMAGE. WITH AIR TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 20S...THIS WILL
  PRODUCE WIND CHILL VALUES OF 10 TO 15 DEGREES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS
STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE
VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
