WARMING TO AROUND 5 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE WITH HOTTEST HIGH
TEMPERATURES ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OF 112 TO 116 DEGREES...
MAINLY IN THE PALM SPRINGS AREA ON TUESDAY...EXPANDING INTO THE
THERMAL AREA ON WEDNESDAY. SLOW COOLING WILL FOLLOW FOR THURSDAY
THROUGH SATURDAY.

* OUTLOOK...COOLING FOR THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS IF YOU WORK OR SPEND TIME OUTSIDE. WHEN
POSSIBLE... RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO EARLY MORNING OR

IN SHADED OR AIR CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENTS. ANYONE OVERCOME BY
HEAT SHOULD BE MOVED TO A COOL AND SHADED LOCATION.   HEAT STROKE
