...Gusty Santa Ana Winds Tonight Through Thursday Afternoon...

Offshore winds tonight and Thursday will be a little stronger
than they were today when winds gusted to 50 mph in the wind
prone mountain and valley areas. The San Diego County Mountains
and Valleys were added to the Advisory, including the I-8
corridor through the San Diego County mountains.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM PST
THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST
Thursday.

* WINDS...Sustained Santa Ana winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of
  40 to 60 mph.

* TIMING AND LOCATIONS...Mountains, foothills and eastern valleys
  of San Diego County, including Interstate 8 through the
  mountains.

* IMPACTS...Minor property damage. Difficult driving conditions
  for high-profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

* WINDS...Santa Ana winds will become strong with occasional gusts
  of 40 to 60 mph late tonight through Thursday afternoon.

* TIMING AND LOCATIONS...Strong and gusty winds below the passes
  and canyons of the Santa Ana Mountains, the Northern Inland
  Empire, and on Interstate 10 through the San Gorgonio Pass. Strongest
  winds late tonight through midday Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Minor property damage. Difficult driving conditions
  for high-profile vehicles on Interstate 10 through the San
  Gorgonio Pass and Interstate 15 through the Cajon Pass.
