...Temperatures Below Freezing over the San Joaquin Valley...

.A very cold airmass over Northern California will bring below
freezing conditions to the San Joaquin Valley. Increasing cloud
cover tonight should keep temperatures from cooling as much as the
previous few nights over the Sacramento Valley, but frost is still
possible.

...HARD FREEZE WARNING IS CANCELLED...

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has cancelled the Hard
Freeze Warning.

Widespread freeze and hard freeze conditions have occurred over
the past few days. Increasing cloud cover tonight will keep
temperatures from cooling as much as the previous few nights.
Isolated low lying areas could see temperatures drop into the
upper 20`s, however most locations will range from 30 to 35
overnight.

...HARD FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PST
WEDNESDAY...

* TEMPERATURE...Overnight low temperatures of 25 to 30 degrees.

* TIMING....Overnight into Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures can damage or kill plants and
  trees that are sensitive to cold. Consider wrapping external
  pipes which may be vulnerable to freezing. Please check on the
  elderly and make sure your animals have a warm shelter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hard Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are
imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and
other sensitive vegetation.
