NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA...

THE SPRING FROST FREEZE PROGRAM WILL BEGIN FOR THE NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL PIEDMONT...AND NORTHERN COASTAL PLAIN REGIONS APRIL 5
2015.

A FREEZE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
TEMPERATURES TO BE 32 DEGREES OR BELOW FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME IN
THE NEXT 12 TO 48 HOURS DURING THE GROWING SEASON. A FREEZE
WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE 32 DEGREES
OR BELOW FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME IN THE NEXT 12 HOURS DURING THE
GROWING SEASON. A FROST ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN THE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE IS EXPECTED TO BE 33 TO 36 DEGREES IN TEH NEXT 12
HOURS DURING THE GROWING SEASON...ON NIGHT WITH GOOD RADIATIONAL
COOLING CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROMOTE FROST FORMATION.
