DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1129 AM EDT MON MAY 25 2015

...All river forecast points will remain well below flood stage...

Surface high pressure centered off the coast of the Carolinas will
direct an onshore flow across area river basins going into midweek.
A moist southeast low-level flow...combined with atmospheric
instability from afternoon heating and possible shortwave energy...
will produce isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.
This activity will favor the Piedmont, Northwest Midlands and the
CSRA.

Rainfall amounts will be spotty and limited. Deeper Gulf of Mexico
moisture will remain well off to the west of our region. Only minor
fluctuations in river levels are expected from dam releases for
hydroelectric power generation.
