Big Blue River...Buffalo Creek...Marais Des Cygnes River...Mill
Creek...Pottawatomie Creek near Lane.

For the Pottawatomie Creek at Lane...
The latest stage was...10.2 feet at 8 PM Saturday.
Flood stage is...23.0 feet.
No flooding is forecast.
At 23.0 feet...Minor low land flooding begins along the creek.

For the Marais Des Cygnes River at Ottawa...
The latest stage was...12.0 feet at 8 PM Saturday.
Flood stage is...31.0 feet.
No flooding is forecast.
At 31.0 feet...Lowland areas near the river flood.

For the Big Blue River near Blue Rapids...
The latest stage was...16.3 feet at 8 PM Saturday.
Flood stage is...26.0 feet.
No flooding is forecast.
At 26.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding occurs from Marysville to
Tuttle Creek Lake.

For the Buffalo Creek near Jamestown...no observed stage was
available.
No flooding is forecast.
The river is forecast to crest around 14.6 feet Monday early
afternoon.
At 16.0 feet...Minor flooding begins along the creek as the south
bank overflows.

For the Mill Creek at Washington...
The latest stage was...2.7 feet at 9 PM Saturday.
Flood stage is...18.0 feet.
No flooding is forecast.
At 18.0 feet...Low lands along the creek flood from Morrowville to
Washington flood.

Safety Message...Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.
