Tonight, light snow was falling in the Black Hills and parts of
western South Dakota. Further east light rain was falling over
areas of eastern South Dakota and southwest Minnesota. Otherwise
skies were mostly cloudy across the Northern Plains.

Tonight rain will transition to snow for much of South Dakota and
southeast North Dakota. The heaviest snowfall accumulations are
forecast to occur in southeast North Dakota and on east into
Minnesota.

Below average temperatures will continue through the work week.
