Skies were mostly cloudy overnight as a cold front moved into the
region. There was not a lot of moisture with the front so only
sprinkles were reported in the northeast where the clouds had fewer
breaks. Morning lows ran from the upper 30s in the west and south to
the upper 40s in the northeast.
The cold front continued to work its way across Kentucky this
afternoon. Skies were partly cloud to mostly cloudy. After the front
passed, winds swung around to the northwest and became gusty. Even
though the highs ran from the upper 50s in the northeast to the mid
60s in the southwest, the winds made it feel much cooler.
Tonight, high pressure will begin to take control which will
diminish the winds and dry us out. Morning lows should run from the
upper 30s to the low 40s.
Wednesday should be a fine fall day with light winds and plenty of
sunshine. Afternoon highs should run from the upper 50s to the lower

could sneak in on Thursday night.
