DURING THE MORNING HOURS...AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN...MIXED WITH SLEET
OR SNOW AT TIMES...PUSHED NORTHWARD INTO THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA. TEMPERATURES BY LATE MORNING WERE MAINLY IN THE
MID 30S WITH EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS.

LOW PRESSURE TRACKING THROUGH THE MIDWEST WILL CONTINUE TO BRING OUR
REGION MAINLY RAIN THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT AND INTERMITTENTLY ON
TUESDAY. SOUTHERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THIS SYSTEM WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES
MILD ACROSS OUR AREA. A SECOND STORM SYSTEM COULD IMPACT THE REGION
ON CHRISTMAS EVE DAY...BRINGING INITIALLY A MIX OF RAIN AND
SNOW...BECOMING ALL SNOW CHRISTMAS EVE. HOWEVER...COMPUTER MODELS
HAVE BEEN MOVING THE SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS FURTHER TO OUR EAST.
KEEP CHECKING LATER FORECASTS ON THE POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW
OVER PARTS OF THE MIDWEST.
