SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA THIS MORNING...WITH SOME AREAS EXPERIENCING DENSE FOG.
MORNING LOWS WERE IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S.

LOW PRESSURE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS AND AN ASSOCIATED WARM FRONT
EXTENDING SOUTHEAST ACROSS CENTRAL ILLINOIS WILL REMAIN OVER THE
AREA THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THERE WILL BE MANY DRY PERIODS...HOWEVER
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MAINLY DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. HIGHS THIS AFTERNOON WILL REACH INTO
THE MID 80S...BUT WITH THE HUMIDITY IT WILL FEEL AS IF ITS IN THE
LOW 90S. ONSHORE WINDS WILL KEEP THE ENTIRE LAKEFRONT SLIGHTLY
COOLER ON SATURDAY. AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE
REGION TONIGHT AND SUNDAY...BRINGING AN END TO THE POTENTIAL FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. HIGHS ON SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER
80S TO LOW 90S.
