SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY TO SUNNY ACROSS A MAJORITY OF NORTHERN
ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA IN THE AFTERNOON. AFTERNOON
HIGH TEMPERATURES TOPPED OUT AT 75 DEGREES IN PONTIAC AND 62
DEGREES IN WAUKEGAN.

LOW CLOUDS REMAINING OVER THE AREA WILL DISSIPATE AFTER SUNSET.
EXPECT ANOTHER COOL NIGHT UNDER CLEAR SKIES. FRIDAY WILL BE A
TRANSITION DAY AS HIGH PRESSURE DRIFTS TO THE EAST. SOUTHERLY FLOW
WILL BOOST TEMPERATURES WELL INTO THE 70S WITH AN INCREASE IN HIGH
CLOUDS...THOUGH IT WILL BE MOSTLY SUNNY. EXPECT AN INCREASE IN
SOUTHERLY WINDS THROUGH THE DAY. FRIDAY NIGHT TEMPERATURES WILL BE
SOME 5 TO 10 DEGREES WARMER. SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES RETURN
SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AS A FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHES...ALONG
WITH ABOVE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.
