WESTERN FAIRFIELD...NORTHWESTERN RICHLAND AND EASTERN NEWBERRY
COUNTIES...

AT 534 PM EDT...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
WHITMIRE...OR 14 MILES NORTHEAST OF NEWBERRY...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
15 MPH.

WIND GUSTS OF 35 TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. A
SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING STRIKES
WERE NOTED WITH THIS STORM.  VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH 1.5 INCH PER
HOUR RAIN RATES ARE ALSO EXPECTED.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
CHAPIN...LITTLE MOUNTAIN...POMARIA...PEAK AND BLACKSTOCK.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
