AT 945 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR BULADEAN...OR 11 MILES NORTH OF
BURNSVILLE...MOVING EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.

THIS STORM WILL IMPACT LOCATIONS NEAR...
  BULADEAN...
  NEWLAND...
  BANNER ELK...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM WITH AMOUNTS OF
AROUND AN INCH...BUT LOCALLY BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES. CAMPERS SHOULD
BE ALERT FOR LIGHTNING AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.

HEAVY RAINS MAY FLOOD AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE...SUCH AS DITCHES AND
UNDERPASSES. AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADS. WATER
LEVELS OF SMALL STREAMS AND RIVERS MAY ALSO RISE RAPIDLY. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND IF THREATENED BY FLOOD WATERS.
