...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 833 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Sugartown to near Bon Weir. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Oakdale, Jasper, Newton, Kirbyville, Rosepine, Merryville, Elizabeth,
Dry Creek, Singer, Fort Polk, De Ridder, Sugartown, Call, Bon Weir,
Pitkin, Mittie, Grant, Deridder, Trout Creek and Bivens.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
