...High Fire Danger Will Continue Into The Weekend...

With the dry conditions of late, low humidity, and increased
winds, fire danger remains high over the entire state of Arkansas.
As of Wednesday morning, 66 of the 75 counties of Arkansas have
burn bans in effect.

Fire danger will remain high, and is likely to get worse, as dry
conditions are expected until the weekend. Gusty southwest winds
and fairly low humidities are expected today.

Given this information, people are advised to use precautions with
any outdoor burning, and follow local county burn bans already in
place. If wild fires are observed, report them to the local fire
department or the Arkansas Forestry Commission at 1-800-468-8834.
